چکیده

This framework focuses mainly on a detailed study of the pre-crystallization criteria that characterize As40S45Se15 glassy alloy in various heating rates ranging from 5 to 40 (K/min) by Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). These aim clarify relationship tendency glass-forming rate for investigated alloy. The crystallization parameters were calculated using different methods. The activation energy Ec(?) as function conversion (?) was obtained iso-conversional models Flynn–Wall–Ozawa (FWO), Starink and Kissinger–Akahira–Sunose (KAS). results show slight increase with which accounts single-step mechanism controlling process. Moreever, dependence Avrami exponent n(?) an (?), average values can be accounted two three-dimensional crystal growth heterogeneous nucleation. On other hand, fitting experimental DSC data curves indicated process studied glasses cannot satisfactorily described Johnson–Mehl–Avrami (JMA) model. contrary (SB) model is more suitable describe Alloy. Finally, crystalline structure sample recognized X-ray diffraction (XRD) electron scanning microscope (SEM).

Isothermal Melt Crystallization Kinetic Behavior of Poly (vinylidene fluoride)

Isothermal melt crystallization kinetics of PVDF was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry. Thin PVDF film has been fabricated by the solvent casting technique using dimethylformamide (DMF). Then, the samples were melted and subsequently crystallized in the range of the crystallization temperature (Tc) between 138 and 145 °C. The crystallization kinetics was derived from Avrami equa...

Crystallization Kinetics Study in Al87Ni10La3 Amorphous Alloy

In this study, the crystallization behavior of melt-spun Al87Ni10La3 amorphous phase was investigated by using X-ray diffraction and non-isothermal differential thermal analysis techniques. The results demonstrated that the amorphous phase exhibited two-stage crystallization on heating, i.e., at first step the amorphous phase transforms into α-Al phase and at second step Al11La3 and Al3Ni inter...

Non-isothermal Primary Crystallization Kinetics of the Amorphous Fe85.3B11P3Cu0.7 Alloy

In the present research, the primary crystallization kinetics of the amorphous Fe85.3B11P3Cu0.7 alloy was analyzed using non-isothermal DSC measurements. The average and local activation energies, Ea, were determined by different isokinetic and isoconversional methods. The results obtained for activation energy in this research, show that due to the complexity of the primary crystallization pro...

Thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of fat crystallization.

Naturally occurring fats are multi-component mixtures of triacylglycerols (TAGs), which are triesters of fatty acids with glycerol, and of which there are many chemically distinct compounds. Due to the importance of fats to the food and consumer products industries, fat crystallization has been studied for many years and many intricate features of TAG interactions, complicated by polymorphism, ...
